The Contest of the International Oil Council of Oliva Virgins Extra by which the “Mario Solinas” quality prize is awarded annually, (one of the most prestigious internationally) responds to decision No. Dec-1/82-IV /00 taken by the Council on June 8, 2000 to institute the entry into force, from the 2000/01 campaign, of this award whose creation was decided by said body in 1993.
