Coming from Iberian pigs raised in the wild in the pastures of the Pedroches Valley and fed exclusively on acorn and grass in their last months. The curing process, which is never less than 3 years, is achieved through a very slow maturation in a natural drying room and a subsequent rest in a natural cellar, located 5 meters underground, to achieve the optimal humidity and temperature parameters.

Acorn-fed 100% Iberian Ham D.O. Los Pedroches is characterized by an intense aroma, delicate flavor and slightly fibrous texture, melting in the mouth, leaving a persistent aftertaste characteristic of acorn. It has a characteristic color that varies from pink to purple-red, bright, with filtration of pinkish fat, rich in oleic acid, which makes it unctuous to the touch and improves its organoleptic qualities.
