Olivar de Segura

The production system of the Sierra de Segura represents a "system of high ecological value", a symbol of sustainable development linked to the authentic and unique "mountain olive grove" that allows maintaining a balance, quality production and the conservation of natural heritage.

To the natural conditions of its territory, with an average altitude of 900 meters, a traditional cultivation system is added that allows obtaining a fruity and aromatic oil, rich in oleic acid, polyphenols, provitamin A and a source of vitamin E. It also has the stability provided by its origin of the Picual olive, maintaining its organoleptic and sensory properties for longer than other varieties.
