In the Cooperativa del Campo San Isidro Labrador de Canena the early and traditional harvest extra virgin olive oils "VANDELVIRA" are born, a brand with which we want to pay tribute to the master architect, combining tradition and art.

Vandelvira was the great architect of the region and province, an example of this is the Renaissance-style castle-palace of Canena dating from the 16th century, the Salvador chapel in Úbeda, the Benavides chapel in the San Francisco convent in Baeza better known as "The ruins of San Francisco" after the Lisbon earthquake, the Ariza bridge, the chapter house and the sacristy of the Cathedral of Jaén and many unique monuments, visited by thousands of people who enjoy their harmony, symmetry and beauty, harking back to the splendor of bygone ages. Thanks to the particular terrain that surrounds the town of Canena and the Guadalimar river, the olive trees of Picual variety, the quintessential variety of the province, with which this EVOO is made give us an oil that is characterized and differentiated by its elegant fragrance and balanced flavor.
