They live with calm calmness among centenary oaks, blockheads and gall oaks of the Pasture of the Pedroches. His food turns concerning the acorn and the natural pastures. His exterior form is lengthened, stylized, and outlined by means of the so called highland cut in 'V', which presents a typical color of rose to red purple and with infiltrations of fat in the muscular mass. It is juicy and of an agreeable aroma typical of this product. The fat in brilliant, aromatic and of pleasing flavor.
