Our product, Oro Virgen Extra, is an extra virgin olive oil made from the Picual variety, renowned for its maximum quality. It comes from a careful selection of olives harvested during the months of November and December, at the optimal ripening point known as ‘envero’. We use a low-temperature extraction method to ensure the preservation of all the natural qualities of the oil, allowing us to obtain an exceptional olive juice.
This oil has a fruity flavor with a slight bitterness and balanced spiciness, giving it an incomparable taste. Moreover, it is rich in natural antioxidants such as vitamin E and phenolic compounds, making it a particularly beneficial option for health.
The Picual variety, from which our oil comes, is known for its high content of natural antioxidants, carotenoids, and oleic acid, further enhancing its health benefits.
Regarding its sensory characteristics, the Oro Virgen Extra made from the Picual variety presents an olive green color and a medium-high fruity aroma, with fresh notes and a predominance of green leaf. In the mouth, it offers a medium-low intensity with a balance between bitterness and spiciness, with a slight characteristic sweetness of mountain oils.
